As we passed the 7000km mark while cycle touring in Bulgaria we were still in the midst of quiet towns and tiny backroads. Moving further south we had our customary day of food but for a change included a restaurant meal out.

As we cycled through Lovech we spent a relaxing few days off followed by some unexpected hospitality when we were invited to stay with a Bulgarian family for a night.

Our cycling in Bulgaria amazed us with the generosity of the local people with barely a day passing that we werent given some kind of food or drink.
