Mountain Equipment Xero 350
sleeping bag - Emma
I looked for something 1kg or under with a small pack size and this bag from Field'n'Trek fit the bill and was discounted by £60 - plus they let me try it out in the store. With a sleepzone from 20 degrees to minus 5 I wondered if it would be too hot to sleep under.
How has it performed (27/05/2010)? I've rarely been cold, often wearing less clothes than Justin on even the coldest nights (short sleeve thermal wool top in snow, no problem!). Justin's is slightly lighter and slightly more expensive but my Xero 350 is really snuggly, so no regrets about carrying the additional weight.
